Chris Kaeser was born in France. With both of his parents established musicians, he started his musical odyssey from an early age. Chris has been producing music since 1988, releasing his first disc in 1991 and produced numerous titles with his nephew David Kaeser and fellow French star Antoine Clamaran throughout the 90’s.
After a short break, Chris returned in 2004 with a release on Electron Records under the moniker ‘Black Widow’. Determined to build on this success, Chris continued on Pool E Music with a first EP “Nightlife,” which included the hit ‘Over’ which stayed at No.1 on the Beatrport chart for 5 weeks. Following this came ‘Boogie Star’, ‘Harmony’ and remixes for the likes of Da Hool, DJ Rooster & Sammy Peralta, Funky People, Laurent Pautrat and many more.
Fast forward to 2005 and Chris’ career continued full steam ahead with ‘Modulove / Sun Is Gonna Shine’ on Unick Records, supported by leading international DJs including Erick Morillo, Benny Benassi, Junior Jack and H.C.C. Romero. His next release on Unick was ‘Atomic Control’, co-produced with Antoine Clamaran and championed by the likes of StoneBridge. Stepping up a gear, in 2006 this talented and prolific producer released over 12 tracks on leading house labels such as Avenue Recordings, Hatiras’ Blowmedia and StoneBridge’s StoneyBoy Music. His biggest hit ‘Nino’ was No.1 for three consecutive months on top French download site 4DeeJays.
2006 also saw Chris establishing his own label ‘D-Tracks’, with heavyweight releases from Ian Carey, StoneBridge, Macca, Seamus Haji, Robbie Rivera, Thomas Gold, Arno Cost, Wawa, Henrik B, K-Klass, DLG amongst others.
Notably, Chris released his own international breakthrough track ‘I Feel Fire’ featuring Linda Newman and launching an international tour schedule that took him around the globe from Hollywood to Amsterdam, Barcelona to Miami, Israel, Poland, Moscow and more.
Chris’ career has continued its skyrocket trajectory both at home in France where he is a regular on the club circuit and nationwide on radio FG, and internationally with the release of more quality tracks including ‘The Weekend’ and again hitting the top of the charts with ‘Ulysse’, featuring the talents of vocal superstar Max C. In January 2009, his remix of "Kim Jofferey - Take me there" was #1 on the Beatport house chart for 5 weeks.
Two months later, during the Miami WMC 2009, Chris again reaches the top 5 of Beatport with the massive hit "The Rhythm Of The Beat" playlisted by many deejays around the world and selected by David Guetta for his annual compilation.
2009 is also the year of his first massive release "Who's in the house" on the french big major Barclay (part of Universal). Back the origins of house music with the strength of Max'C, the track has been signed in 14 countries with a funny nineties video movie and released in single in France.
French DJs made it become number one of the year in annual DJ Buzz chart.
Chris also produced huge remixes which also burnt the dance floor "Gold" from Antoine Clamaran, "New New New" from Bob Sinclar, "Extraball" from Yuksek, "Birthday Sex" from Jeremih, "Game Over" from VV Brown, unreleased memorial bootleg from "Billie Jean" and coming soon in 2010, remix from "Stereo Love" by Edward Maya, iTunes number one in Europe.
2010 is starting faster and stronger with the release of the second single "Back To The Rhythm" with magic voice of Max'C on Barclay/Universal.
Stay tuned, 2010 appears to be a big CK year with the release of the first upcoming album of this supremely talented artist.
